1. Product Principle
The generator converts the 220v 50HZ electrical power into ultrasonic mechanical vibration power to the ceramic transducer and the welding head (horn). The vibration reaches up to 28,000 to 40,000 times per second. This power is transmitted through the booster and welding horn to the thermal plastic laminates to generate sufficient frictional heat. This heat breaks the molecular structure of the plastic, allowing the two plastic materials to melt and join. The welded area is nearly as strong as the matrix material.
