The high-voltage, high-frequency signal generated by the sound generator is converted into high-frequency electrical energy through the transduction system. The transducer then converts this into high-frequency vibrations of tens of thousands of times per second. The welding mold head transmits this energy to the plastic workpieces, causing instantaneous temperature rise at the interface due to friction. Once the melting point is reached, the surfaces melt and are fused under pressure, completing a perfect weld.
