1. Workpiece Size: Large/solid materials require high power and low frequency. Small parts/gears require lower power and high frequency.
2. Heating Depth: Deep heating requires low frequency; shallow/surface heating requires high frequency.
3. Process Requirements: Quenching/welding usually needs higher frequency; tempering/forging/smelting needs lower frequency for better thermal penetration.
