Principle of Ultrasonic Plastic Welding:
When ultrasonic waves act on the thermoplastic contact surface, high-frequency vibrations (tens of thousands of times per second) generate local high temperatures due to acoustic resistance. This causes the contact faces of the plastics to melt rapidly. Under pressure, they integrate into one strong molecular chain. The welding strength can be close to the strength of the raw material.
