Portable straight ultrasonic spot welding welder designed for plastic and non-woven fabric. This machine converts 50/60 Hz current to 15, 20, 30, or 40 kHz power through an ultrasonic generator. The high-frequency electrical energy is converted into mechanical motion via an ultrasonic transducer and transmitted to the welding head through a booster.
The vibration energy generates friction heat to melt the plastic at the workpiece joint. Upon stopping the vibration, transient pressure causes weldments to solidify into a single body through molecular linkage. Welding time is typically less than 1 second, resulting in high strength comparable to the base material.
