Principle of Ultrasonic Plastic Welding: When ultrasonic waves act on the thermoplastic contact surface, high-frequency vibrations of tens of thousands of times per second are generated. This vibration creates local high temperatures due to acoustic resistance. Since plastic has poor thermal conductivity, heat gathers in the weld zone, melting the contact faces rapidly. Under pressure, they integrate into one strong molecular chain.
The quality depends on the transducer amplitude, applied pressure, and welding time. Ultrasonic welding is a high-tech solution for processing thermoplastic rubber parts without adding solvents, adhesives, or auxiliary products, thereby increasing productivity and reducing costs.
